Pre-wipe out photos...

Kate barred me from putting any of the "blood and gore" shots from her bike wreck on the blog

which is a shame since I got a number of great photos right before I rushed to her aid.  These are  pre-wipeout!

A promising start and a disastrous finish...

The day started off well but smelly as Kate and Dad toured Les Egouts de Paris while Jack and Mom pony-rided around the Jardins de Luxembourg.  A three-hour bike ride ended with Kate bloodied and bruised after wiping out at the Eiffel Tower and Dad leaving his I-phone in a Paris taxi (According to the Prefecture, 600-700 items come in daily).  Finally, Mom and Dad were left to eat falafel in the Marais at midnight after getting Kate sorted. Ahhh Paris.

Pretty Pretty Good Les Glaces...

But worth the wait on hot Ile St. Louis?
...Kate says "kind of" but she preferred Copenhagen's Nyhavn waffle cones.  We have created a monster (& a world wide ice cream/gelato connoisseur)

So happy together...

Yet another European amusement park has left Kate and Jack filled with joy.  Actually, they just found out there is a real evening babysitter (an off-duty "Moulin Rouger " sourced on the internet) while the parents return to their familiar Abbesses neighborhood.  For her weekend adventures, Kate has picked the Paris Sewer Tour with Dad on Saturday and the Louvre with Mom on Sunday. C'est la vie.

Parisian child care...

Child minder was not coming until the evening hours so until then these handy pods at Tuileries Garden worked wonders

Hot time....Summer in Ca'Savio

The children's day in Venice became an extended checkout when the temp jumped 30 c.
